Hawaii Fish Order

I have all the money for the Scarface Blennies and will issue refunds to everyone. I never received payment from everyone who requsted so I didn't turn the rest of the money over to Dale. Dale personally received $1500. $400 in cash and $1100 through Paypal. $65.42 also went toward this order when I paid to pick up the first shipment at Hawaiian Airlines on March 6, 2007. This is enough to pay for 7 groups, either harems of Hawaiian Flame Wrasses or pairs of Mystery Wrasses.

I've PM'd everyone who has money involved with the wrasses regarding the circumstances surrounding this money. I have one 1 group to refund, either a harem of Hawaiian Flame Wrasses or pair of Mystery Wrasses. Just don't know who yet as I don't know who has received or not. I just need to know who received as a claim with Paypal has been made unless he provides a total of 7. So far Pilaya(formerly P-deezy), Loup, and Pogiboy67 have received their fish. He's obligated to provide 4 more groups and a refund for each that isn't provided as part of our agreement.

If I could get a PM or reply in this thread to verify receipt it would be great.

I deeply apologize for the circumstances involved in this group buy.

Gauging Interest: Hawaiian Flame Wrasse Harem
My sister from Hawaii is telling of a friend that can capture Hawaiian Flame Wrasse Harems of 1 male and 3 females...$200 for the harem. They will be net caught, NO CYANIDE!!! Live arrival guarantee... Also looking into a price on Mystery Wrasse pairs...

This is what was posted originally.....Was your sister who lives in Hawaii having a friend a total lie? Dale, who arranged and got all the fish lives right down the road from me. He said that you don't even know the diver.
 
I believe Ryan pm everyone stating that he was not truthful about his contact. In any case, I did received my Mystery wrasse from Dale.
 
Ryan's presentation of this group buy was beguiling, and he appears to have owned up to his error. It seems like his intentions were good. Trying to get a good deal for some fellow aquarists.

Things didn't go as planned, but it sounds like he'll be taking care of those that might not receive their fish.

I am not one for much drama personally, but I do not take too kindly to being deceived either. It is important for me to understand where my tankmates come from and how they arrived. When I get a promise solely on the good word of another, and then to find out it was apparently purposely fabricated - how am I to conclude that "his intentions were good?" In fact I would say his intentions were just the opposite - trying to further his own cause by fabricating a more appealing circumstance to lure in people who would have otherwise passed on the deal. This is the very definition of a con artist from my point of view.

I do not wish to beat a dead horse, because what's done is done and I think for the most part things will work out well for me and everyone else involved. What I do not agree with though is letting things off so nonchalantly as good intentions gone awry when that is clearly not the case from where I stand.
 
I don't think the point Mike makes could be any clearer. I was asked if I wanted a pair of these when Ryan knew that I knew Dale and could have just got them from the man himself. I have found out that it was Ryan's aim to get a free pair of each type of fish that he got the group to buy. Hence the lie was for PERSONAL GAIN, not just an error. I also don't understand how Dale is responsible for paying for the pair of Flame Angels that Ryan got as part of this deal. for setting so many people up. I think this is a prime example of what not to do when dealing with friends and peers in a club and Ryan should be ashamed of himself.
 
i got my order last night from Dale .it's was awsome.i also got 5 barlet anthia from Dale in good faith.if u guy want some bartlet at wholsesale price,better get a hold of Dale.They're all healthy and eating in my tank.gl

I got my Mystery pair and let me tell you, they are gorgeous fish. Maybe not worth the stress and headache of this "group buy", but dealing w/ 2 OUTSTANDING Reefers as Paul and Dale made up for alot of stress. I really respected the area Reefers community because how everyone shared their knowledge and products in a positive environment for all. I might be naaive, but getting in the group buy was not a concern at all. Unfortunately, after the drama that Ryan put us all through, I definately had a "bad taste" about dealing with people I didn't know. Mr. Wiley's name has been "dirtied up" throughout this fiasco and it is totally unfair. And unfortunately, he has not been able to defend himself. I know that those of you who have dealt and/or are dealing with him know that what's been written is TOTALLY FALSE. Dealing with Dale and Paul definately changed my mood and opinion. They definately know what they are talking about, are very "genuine" and "honest", and would definately help out a fellow reefer in a moments notice. So I publicly "Thank" Paul for looking out for our interest and helping others out, and Dale for his "hook-up in Hawaii" and salvaging a disaster into something positive for me. I hope in the end (hopefully soon) no one loses any $$ and those of you who get their product are enjoying it as I am!!
 
Gald you got your stuff and are happy with it! I appreciate all of your kind words but have to say that all I did was to call and let you know that the fish were in. I am glad you and Lou got them and in the end, at a preety good deal. Now come on over and buy up some of those pink rics we were talking about :D!!
 
FYI- I just talked to Dale and the last group of fish (Flame Wrasse Harem) are mine. He was very accommodating and very upfront and honest. He agreed to hold my fish for me, until my GF and I can drive up from So. Cal. He will be sending me pictures of the fish so that I know they are safe and healthy.
 
Now that's someone who's doing the right thing....cleaning up a "dirty" job. JFish- I'm glad you got in contact w/ Dale.....don't worry. He knows his stuff and your fish will be in "primo" condition!! You're a lucky guy if you got a set of the Hawaiin Flames!!
 
Eek - I didn't know about any of this nonsense. From my perspective, it's all about the fish. Regardless of how you get them, post your stories, pics, and movies about your flame & mystery wrasses + scarface blennies. I can't wait to see them! The flame wrasses are SWEEEET! I can't wait to see other peoples! :)
 
In the end, I hope everyone gets their fish or refund. And Dale can get the money that is owe to him via paypal that Ryan has put a claim against. Because Dale has delievered the fishes even when he didn't have to.
 
Has anyone been able to reach Ryan, I'm glad to hear that many of you got your fish or a refund. I am one of those few who has recieved neither.
 
I would put a claim with paypal if you don't hear from Ryan soon. I don't know how long of a timeframe paypal allows for claim.

The first order is complete with what was "paid" to the fish collector. All other orders will have to be taken care of with the "organizer" of the group buy (Ryan Palileo).

Bottom line......fish collector was legit and definately gets awesome product. Source (Dale Wiley) to fish collector is a man of his word , honest reefer and a super cool guy. Coordinator of this group buy- you make your own judgement. Haven't heard from him in a couple of days.

Hope it works well for everyone involved.
 
don't get it.. so does this mean that there may actually be scarface blennies around or should i just request a refund now..

i'm thinking a refund as there doesn't seem to be any mention of the blennies as of yet?..
