Hawaiian Group buy

Yeah,
I had to slap him around a little and say "come on eric, snap out of it already" :lol2:

Referring to your trigger of course :D

Ray,
if you didn't start the acclimation whn you did I dont think he would have made it.
After I got him home and finished acclimating him to my tank. I place him in and he sank like a rock, breathing was semi heavy. I thought he would not last the night.
Next morning I could not find him. Came home from work to find him behind the rock work getting a cleaning from my two cleaner shrimp. Then two hours later he is swimming around like I have had him for years. Did not eat untill Thursday night.
The Idols took to the tank right away. They seem to be not as timmid as the last group of Idols. They were eating within an hour after acclimation.

You wish you were slapping me though, Right?

Chris, I went to Pets Warehouse the next day and bought a tang. You were right he is taking care of my hair algae problem.
Thanks
Eric

Your Welcome Eric. You will never see a spec of hair algae in my tank :) I was a little worried about the trigger too. When he started spitting water in the bucket i figured he would be fine :)
Im really glad the Idols are eating right away!

I'm happy the idols took food so quickly. I think thier bad rep. is due to poor collection and being held too long. Is the Bluethroat Male being a good tank mate? They are usually quite mellow but I have never had one in a comm. tank.

c'mon eric we all want to slap you around. lol

i loved the idols too. maybe when i get my own house one day. i already got the approval from the girl friend to get a igger tank. hee hee little does she know.

Why don't you get one of the local stores to match the prices and quality of this group buy? We would gladly do it.

emelton, correct me if I'm wrong wasn't the last group buy a total disaster, shipment getting lost, everybody losing alot of fish and money.
Les does group buys, and will handle the acclimation of the entire purchase, also if anything is DOA he will get credit, nobody loses any $$$$ and I know he will give all of you a great deal!!!!

Just trying to be a little realistic :D CaptiveReef

CaptiveReef,

If Les would like to start a group buy on anything he can post it like everyone else has.
The Hawaiian group buy prices could not have been matched by anyone. Yes there is a gamble on DOA but for the price we are willing to take that chance. Our first buy we had problems due to the fact Delta lost the cargo in Atlanta. This group buy only one DOA.

When you quoted me above, that is my response to a person who either is or knows a LFS owner. Who also has allot of problems comprehending straight answers.

Eric

A quick question.

Do we use any method to quarantine the fish before they get into the display tank?

Thanks in advance.
