Heavy BRS 2 part dosers

What are you using for your Ca/Alk containers. I'm using the standard jugs from BRS but as consumption goes up, I'm filling them more and more frequently. What are you guys using?

I'm under the tank so space is a concern. Any commonly available 2 or 3 gallon containers you use?

I'm having the same issue. Was considering picking up some 3 gallon glass carboys, but that's obviously not the most space efficient option.

Yeah, definitely want clear, tall, & thin. Just racking my brain as to what I could use. I'm certain there's something commonly available. I'm surrounded by stuff at work but stealing isn't a route I'm ok with. Funny thing is, I'm sure the stuff costs 50 cents to make, but because its "surgical", its $800 for a plastic jug with graduations on it.

I remember when I first started out

I remember when I first started out

dosing milliliters of B-ionic with a syringe :ape:

Nowadays.... even while running a calcium reactor, doing a weekly 50 gallon water change and topping off with kalkwasser... I have to bump it 400-700 ml. a week.

I can't imagine how much liquid two part I would be using without a calcium reactor and kalkwasser.

Cully- if you're not gonna use that calcium reactor and it's a larger one than I have... I'm interested in it.

I would think you could buy acrylic fairly cheaply and use weldon/solvent to put together your own containers. That way it would fit your exact dimensions and you wouldn't lose as much space as with a cylindrical vessel.

Do you guys have a BJ's up there? They sell 3 and 5 G water jugs, but they are square and not round. The 5 G is rectangular. I can take a couple pictures and post them tonight.

Walmart has rectangular semi clear light blue 2.5 gal containers with large openings. $7.50 I think. Looks to be stackable too.

No I'm using 2 BRS peristsltic pumps. It's just that I am ramping up the amount and want to have to mix up 2 part less often out of laziness. I was just looking for common hours old/grocery store containers that would be double or triple the size of the standard 1 gallon BRS containers.

These are three gallon jugs from the Culligan Dispenser at Walmart. Right now they're full of Mrs. Wages.
