I've got a 6100 and a 6200 on the overflow end of my 4" penninsula tank. I put another 6100 in a tunze rock facing the opposite/front wall. Have a multi controler(7095). Having difficultysetting it up. Want to have the 6100 in the rock pulse on/off every 20/30 seconds and the 2 on the back wall a much faster pulse. Can this be done, I couldn't get it to work?

You could achive this with two single controller 7091s but with the 7095 the two channels are dependant on one another. When the 7096 comes out late this year it would likely be able to achieve this as each channel can be setup separately

It cannot be done, the intervals are the same for all pumps, so is the pulse. There is just one setting and it applies to all the pumps. The main purpose of interval is to switch between sides for a tide simulation at several hours. I am not sure that the 7096 would be able to do this, 2 7091's could definitely not do this as you cannot switch the pumps off with a 7091 and the pulse is only adjustable from 1-7 seconds. Probably the closest you can get to what you want to do is use Interval 2 and set a 30-100% pulse every few seconds. In this set up 1 channel will pulse and the other will idle at 30% after the interval time you set they will switch. Again, usually this is used for tide simulation with a 6hr interval.

Sorry Roger/Bob, was not even considering the on/off part of the question and my thinking was focused on the intervals being different

I'm surprised it can't perform what I want it to, I'll play around with it a bit, try out your suggestion Roger.
Roger could I get a wave box controler, hook it up to the 6100 that's at the front of the tank to get the surge effect I'm looking for? I have 2 7091's for the 6100 and the 6200 that I have on the back wall/overflow. If so I'd sell the multi/slave controler and get a wave box controler, if that makes sense, sorry but I'm a couple days post op and still not all the way out of the fog.

The wavebox controller turns the pumps off and on at .4-1.4 second intervals. It won't do this either. The most you could do is have one pump on and one off but the multicontroller can do the same thing only the interval is adjustable from 1 second to 12hrs.
