Help, anemone looking weird

Might be, but I truly believe that we are going towards the wrong conclusion lol, that star is being there since day one and not move, that's why she's in all the pictures

Ummmm seems interesting, but honestly that just sounds wrong somehow

That may be but you're the one with the screwed up anemone that is missing tentacles as well as running for it's life. The one common denominator is the starfish in many of the pictures in the close proximity of your anemone. We're just trying to help you find the answer and I believe we now have what was the cause. The solution isn't as easy I'm afraid. You need to setup a nano tank just for that nem and see how it does from there. If i was close to you I'd put it in my tank and see how it recovered. Maybe you have someone locally that can do this for you.

I will check with one of my buddies and see if he can do it for me, the only problem is that he has super strong lighting and am thinking for the nem going back and forth between does lighting might cause a bigger issue?!?!?!

anemones like strong current too, if you ever notice where your pumps are pushing water out you will see more growth there. thats because it compresses the nutrients when its pushing out. Whatever you put in the flow will get more food. Try to move him to higher current and higher light.

It's been a few days, any update? I've been lurking, following this thread for a while. Your tank and methods... intrigue me.

hey buddy anemone is currently attached to the glass still looking the same way but honestly i dont see her dying any time soon which is really weird, so i will just let her be and see what she decides to do

It seems after all this, all the conversation she has generated, she should have a name. She's been fighting a war, she deserves it!
