Hi Has anyone had experience with this before? this is the day 6 after it went in my tank. It is been moving around, a different location everyday. Yesterday while I was at work, my share mate sent me a picture of my anemone, it turned like inside out... and it was back to normal just a couple of hours later. here is a picture of my anemone and one that it turned inside out.

Any comments and sharing similar experience is appreciated!!!

I also worried about its colour. From reading on several forums, it looks like mine is too white to be healthy. I need to introduce zooxanthellae to it. I am think about using one of these two methods:

1. the zooxanthellae transplant method in this thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2526030 (Awesome post! A big thank you to OrionN) but not sure where to find the donor.

2. using supplement such as:

LMAO, they do this often. It's not inside out, it's closed up, usually do this after feeding. Never the less it looks great, other than being a bit bleached. Feed it once or twice a week with some mysis and the color will come back.

He is pale in color but not completely bleached IMO. Feed him, pencil eraser piece of food every 3rd days or so and he will be fine.

Thank you for your reply. I probably fed it too much the day before it did this. I fed it with a piece of scallop, 2-3 times the pencil eraser size:headwally: I will follow your advice while looking for a suitable supplement. :D Thank you!

The more you feed the faster he growth. Just make sure he does not regurgitate later, meaning he really eating too much. That can really set them back. Something about undigested food can really get them sick.

Looks like a pink tip bubble tip. Time will tell as it colors up.

It is green when deflated.. how do I know? It deflated. How? This is what happened yesterday.

:bounce3: :bounce2:

I got back home from work and found my most beloved bta deflated and hanging at the corner and not responding to feeding.

I checked the water, all fine. throw away a piece of rock from the tank because I saw a crab hiding in it once. I thought the crab may have attacked my bta. 2 hours later, I found another half of my bta in the overflow compartment

So I pulled it out. It was attached to a piece of black sponge filter.

Seeing this made me want to cry

I put it back to the tank. and a few minutes later, it crawled from the sponge filter to the rock.

This is a picture taken this morning. The one I found in the overflow (right) was eating the shrimp I fed to him this morning. The other one (left) has only a few tentacles responding to feeding, trying to crab the turkey baster. but the most of it is still not responding.

Now finger crossed, I hope they will recover and become two healthy beautiful BTAs.:xlbirthday:
