Help catching bristle worms

I bought pantyhose especially for that. The micro brittles got caught but no worms.
What makes it worse is that when the fish get fed the worms will sometimes make an appearance. Three fourths of the way out of their rocks, sitting there, watching. Laughing.
Then they go back into the rocks. This is in broad daylight!

Maybe the food was too close to their home? You need to draw them out first. Don't expect to find a bunch of worms caught up in the hose overnight. Give the tank about an hour of darkness, and then swoop in. There's got to be some sort of action on your part. GL.

Just give it time.. lots of time.

Here is a good trap for bristles that most reefers use.

Built the trap. Added a silverside for bait. 2 hours of darkness.
Checked the trap had captured the Firefish.
