Help Chrysopterus Not Eating!

Went against my better judgment and bought a 4" yellow tail Chrysopterus. She's hiding down low, not very active, stays in one spot, breathing is regular. other than a lost scale she looks pretty good no obvious signs of disease.

For the most part I've been trying to leave her alone. wondering if i should ship live feed (kinda doubt it would help). should I treat her with anything?

Is she in a QT by herself, with other fish or in the display tank?

I've not tried this clown before but have had some adult wild caught clowns that are reclusive. I had good luck with having them in QT by themselves with nice hiding spots. Feed and step back or better yet out of the room and observe from a distance. You could try live brine shrimp or black worms.

Good Luck.

she isn't in a QT by herself, she's in the display. wouldn't be too hard to get her out. she still hasn't moved too much. no change in the condition

Thought I'd give all of you an update. Was able to get her to eat! stuck a piece of squid on a bamboo scewer put it in front of her face and she sucked it right up! was able to feed her two before she got a little bit angry and hid. she still is rather reclusive, but i have high hopes.

She was in the fish store a week from thursday. so she went a little more than a week before taking food. Not too bad of a situation. just need to make sure she doesn't get sick.
