Hello all, thanks for taking the time to chime in.
My Brother and I are in a heated debate reguarding killing flatworms. He has a 90g with sump and no live fish because he was in NY with me after my accident. His corals, chaeto, and flatworms are thriving though. Here are the 2 ways we see it, and if you have a plan c by all means please help.
Plan A.
1. syphon and fw dip constantly for 3 days
2. add flatworm exit. syphon and fw dip.
3. repeat syphon and fw dip for 3 days
4. add a larger dose of flatworm exit. syphon and fw dip.
5. add fish and inverts that do or are supposed to eat flatworms.
Plan B.
1. syphon and fw dip for 3 days.
2. add fish and inverts that do or are supposed to eat flatworms.
3. If fish and inverts dont show continued improve ment place in Qt tanks and go to plan A.
The major point of the debate is to poison first or try natural predator in large quantity since his bioload is nothing.
