Snowflake Clownfish... skinny, lethargy, not eating, white on body appears mottled. Has stringy white poop hang out bottom. Sorry can't take better pics than this....

I was thinking a worm of some type and need to get him into hospital and begin prazipro treatment.

Any other thoughts?

If someone else can confirm the disease and if I can run prazipro and Seachem Para Guard at the same time, I'll get started. I did a freshwater dip and that seemed to really help him... he has more energy and ate a little brine shrimp in QT.

Thanks for your help, guys.

Might be multiple things you need to treat. Mixing meds is generally no good. If the fresh dip helped then make sure you read up on brook & flukes. That's generally what is helped by a fresh dip. Address those issues first, then worry about the stringy poop. Also I would suggest paracide D for that.

^agree...triage. If this is brook, and by the symptoms it could be, you need to treat right away. Formalin (Quick Cure in a pinch) is the treatment needed. I wouldn't waste my time (or the fish's) with Paraguard. Treat worms afterwards.

Anyone have a source for formalin? I wasn't too successful in a google search of something that was clearly a formalin product.

Thanks for the help, guys.
