Help me to decide...which Lg. Skimmer?

I'm really struggling to figure out what skimmer I should get. I'm sure that I need to upgrade my G6 to something more powerful.

I have little/no height restriction. I'm attracted to the idea of using a Dart NW pump.

Some ideas:

RK2-10AC - is this going to be LOUD? I've always used NW skimmers...never a beckett. Seems like good size and features (auto washdown) for the money.

Twin Reeflo 250's? (I'm sure that one won't do it)

Something custom...based on a NW Dart or 2 NW Darts... 14"D x 60"+H?

Something else that I should consider?

Nothing by Bubble King or Deltec appeals to me...too expensive for the size.

Yes, my total system volume is probably only 500 gallons...but I have a very heavy bioload and I feed heavily.

I think from what i have read and a friend that has one that 1 Reeflo Orca 250 Pro would handle that tank. If you look him up his name is thor32766, he has the 250 Pro without the upgraded needle wheel on his 450g and is very happy with it. He has a huge bioload it is a fowlr and some mushrooms though. I have heard from some of the guys that the gentleman at Reef Specialty is very helpful with these skimmers maybe give him a call and ask his advice. They rate the 250 for up to 800g and that is before the pro modification with the larger cup and new needlewheel.

Good price...12"D x 28"H with two pumps...isn't getting me excited sizewise. My G6 has more volume and three pumps. The Reeflo isn't much bigger, but I like the pump.

Thanks for the opinions! Please keep them coming!

How about a nice sized beckett from Marine Technical Concepts....lots of bang for the buck and they skim the system several times per hour.

Anyone know of a skimmer with a reaction chamber size of 12"D x 48"H? That would put the overall skimmer likely 60" or 72"H.
