HELP, my potters angel is not eating!

He won't touch a thing! Not even sniff at it. What do I do? I am feeding it prime reef flakes, nls anti parasitic, frozen pygmy angel formula, frozen mysis, nori seaweed. tetra marine flakes.

What have you tried to feed? How long have you had the fish? Is there a lot of live rock in the tank? Tank size?
Water parameters all in check?
These can be very touchy fish and many don't acclimate well. Was it eating at the store and if so, what?

3 days now. It's in a 24 gallon nano cube with about 50 pounds of live rock. Yes it ate nls pellets at the store. I'm no expert but I do regualar weekly 5 gallon water changed using oceanic and very small bioload in the tank. The things I have tested for are ammonia and ph, Both are in the correct areas. Only 1 clownfish and 3 chromis. And big cleanup crew.

Check for elevated nitrates. The fish may also be getting nourishment from grazing off the rock work. It's not uncommon for some fish to refuse foods the first few days. Try ofering a variety of meaty foods; finely chopped clam, mussel, sponge based foods, mysis, blood worms, Marine Cuisine, Emerald Entree and other frozen foods. Also try nori on a clip. FWIW, the tank is on the small side for one of these fish. Even the dwarf angels are pretty active and fare better in larger systems.

Most places say the minimum tank size is 30 but I do see the benefit of it having a large tank full of live rock to graze on.

Your fish is quite normal so far - usually Potter's take at least a week to start eating.

Just keep throwing food at it, and if it's healthy it'll start picking at it once it gets hungry enough. Don't expect it to eat right away.
