Help needed to ID a piece of equipment

Came in to work this morning to a low water situation in the sump. Traced the problem to the automatic water top off.

There is an electronic "black box" that is controlled by the apex and according to the Apex its turned on for one hour twice a day. It sits between the float valve and the RODI. It looks like an electromagnet controlled shut off valve.

The printing on the unit:
EV 7/9

4.8W 400mA
100% ED
IP 65 CE

Am I right that its an electro magnet shut off valve? If so where do I get a new one and how much do they cost?

yep.. Probably a solenoid..
Any manufacturers marking?
A pic would be nice..

Unfortunately I can't send pics anymore, the powers that be tightened security.

there are no manufacturing names on it, the only thing I can tell you is it came from the LFS. It's 95% plastic except for a metal nut holding everything together and a thin piece of metal separating what seems to be two plastic pieces. It looks to be a 12 volt solenoid that was normally off except for the two hours each day in case the float valve failed. Right now the RODI (50GPD) is hooked directly to the float valve.

Sounds like it was a solenoid that would only allow the ATO canister to fill for a max of 2 hours a day..

Replacements are available in the link I posted above and many other places..
