help on nikon d60

i ve been messing around with this camera for a while and always took pictures under 10k with actinics.. well now ive changed to 20k. and cant seem to dial in the camera settings to get really good pictures. does anyone have any pointers on settings..

Since you are talking about adjusting the color temperature of your bulbs, I assume you mean your photos are too blue then right? If so, then you need to adjust your white balance... I just usually set mine to Auto and shoot in RAW mode so I can adjust it on the computer. If that is not your problem, then you will have to be a bit more specific on why you think your pictures aren't as good.

yeah they come out to blue.. itried it on auto and it makes the color of the coral off big time.. when i took pictures in raw they woulnt upload to my computer

Do you have the software that came with the camera? If so install it. If not, use this.

Then after uploading pics adjust the white balance.
