hello,
I know this topic may be better suited to a different thread, however after almost complete non-responsiveness on the diseases forum I decided to plead for help here.
I just bought a beautiful pair of ORA Ocellaris broodstock, the female is 4" long! Unfortunately when I got home from picking them up two days ago I noticed both of the fish were breathing heavily. In my excitement I dismissed this as mere stress. Well two days later the fish are breathing very heavily and they have yet to eat. The female isbreathing with her mouth open. I am feeling very discouraged, please help me. It seems to me they may have Brookynella, does that sound right? I have given them a fresh water bath, lowered the salinity of the tank and treated the tank with "rid-ick" which I believe the active ingredient is Formalin...? In retrospect I am not sure if that was the best idea. Anyway please please please help me...I really want to help these fish pull through.
Thanx,
Colby
