Help protect this BTA

My BTA moved to the back behind all the rocks. It is getting light but is only 2 inches from the intake of the closed loop. The pump for closed loop is a reeflo dart at 3000gph. Any suggestions on covers for this intake so the anemone doesn't get sucked in?

The above posted link will probably work best for you with your current setup but in the future, you might like to try something like I'm doing with my 45g cubes.

Yes. I'm sure the prototype pictured above will be complete soon. I just had a stand made today. So, I'm sure to have my hands wet this weekend. I have some very special clowns that all these tanks will be centered around. Anemone safety is a primary concern in the design of each system. Because they are being run separately and the total system volume is likely to be less than 60 gallons, fouling is of more concern than it has been in the past.

Well, I couldn't find that mesh at Michael's. it seemed way too small so I used black gutter guard and zip tie to make a cage around the intake that is 1 inch wider. Here is my practice one. It seems to work and keeps the anemone's tentacles from getting sucked in. I had to shut off that pump for a while until i could get the supplies.

The anemone is now also very close to my crocea clam

You could see the intake with the cage I made around it behind the anemone.

Do you have a DIY link for this? It's pretty cool :)
