help stat! splitting, dying? gaping!

I just got home from work, and my rbta has a gaping mouth. Been in tank a week or so, has been eating well. Its colors and tentacles are very full and vibrant. Its foot has been attached to the same rock, same spot, that I put it on. My clown keeps staring into the hole, and I'm fairly sure I see rock when I look into the hole with a flashlight. I fed some ysis and the tentacles grabbed and pulled it in. I don't think its dying. Will post a pic soon.

Where do anemones start splitting? Does it start at the mouth and pull apart from there? Thx in advance

It could be splitting. However, without pics, we are shooting in the dark. Plus, how old is the tank, lighting, parameters? Thanks!

Don't feed it at this time. Stressed or slitting anemones should not be fed until recover
