Help with carpet anemone

Yesterday i bought a green carpet anemone at a lfs. It looked great in the tank they had it in and they told me it would be fine in my tank. I acclimated it about for an hour or so and put it in the tank. When i came down to the tank this morning before the lights were on it looked great fully opened and looked healthy. Soon after the lights came on it looked like ****. Its mouth is like insideout its not sticky and just looks like a green blob. Now id really love it if this wonderful animal didnt die.I also noticed its only sticky in certain spots and the foot isnt really attaching. Here are some pictures of it now.

My parameters are great as well

Ammonia nothing shows up on test
Nitrite nothing shows up on test
Nitrate nothing shows up on test

Lighting is 2x250 halides and 4-t5s

Flow is moderate too.

PLEASE HELP I DONT WANT TO LOSE THIS ANIMAL!!
 
How long and how did you acclimate it?
They are so sensitive.
How long did the LFS have it before you bought it?
Moderate flow is too much (IME) when i had mine it loved just enough flow to move its edges, with a current above it more so then at it.
It does not look like you have a sand bed, they bury their foot in sand on the bottom of a tank.
Did it eat anything since you had it? Was it sticky when you bought it? Is it wild or did they get it from a trade in?
 
Also just as a tip for future, when I had RBTA, I drip acclimated it in a bucket for about 2 hours so it adjust to the water parameters. What kind of lighting do you have?
 
do have a sand bed and the lighting is 2x250 halide and 4xt5s i think it got light shock its opened up now more than it has. I think the halides are bothering it and it needs to acclimate better. Hopefully it bounces back
 
Yeah, it looks way better than before! :) I do have a sand bed. Each nem is different in terms where it likes to be. I don’t have any experience with carpet nems, but my RBTA found its perfect home on one of my rocks.
 
Last time I saw my nem inside out was when my alk was like 4 dkh

i guess it could be sarcastic if your lookin for sarcasm, at first glance id say he was being legit though.

what is your alk currently aaron?
