Help with choosing aquarium height using Tunze

Hi Roger: I wonder if you might address in a general way how height affects performance of the Streams. I am planning to set up a 84"long tank that is 30" wide and either 24 or 30" tall.
It will have two corner overflows, DSB, fish and coral tank. I will be using my corner overflows and ext pump to get half of my flow and want to use streams with multicontroller for additional flow.
Would they perform better with the 30" height? thanks, tom

A DSB shouldn't be a problem when properly established. One of my friends and employees runs two 6100's on a 180 with DSB and he had a sandstorm at first but once everything was settled and coated with biofilm the sand stopped stirring. A 180 is 72 by 24 by 24. I really dislike deep tanks- to hard to light and to hard to maintain so I would vote for 24" depth.

Thank you!! I would like to contact you concerning choice and placement of streams when I get my tank. thanks, tom
