help with monti munching nudis

well despite dipping ,QT , and dipping after two months of nice growth in DT two new monti frags had nudibranchs on them. A third didn't show any signs yet but all three are now back in QT. These were the first montis I tried since losing a couple to power-outage after Halloween blizzard 3 years ago. I have some poly ox and want to try to dip using it as it reportedly kills eggs as well as nudis. Anyone know what the concentration of potassium permanganate is in this product. tried searching here and on kent website no luck.

I hate to say it but I gave up. I'm letting them eat the montis, observing how long it takes, then will run monti free for a while. Too a month to consume a large spongodes, a couple of days to eat a Rainbow, then population seemed to suffer a big drop. I've got a red cap I expected to be dead by now but they haven't found it and it's growing like mad, shading out corals underneath.

these are all relatively small frags so if they dont make it I'll be annoyed but not like they took out a big piece of my tank. Funny I noticed that blue leg hermits are suddenly ignoring what was their favorite spot,the rock I had these frags on. I guess they must really prey on these guys

I would get several Halichoeres wrasses, such as H. melanurus, H. chrysus, and blow the buggers during the day, so that wrasses would catch them.

I had them and threw away all the monti's that were infected really bad and added a melanurus wrasse before changing tanks 9 months later in the new tank I've yet to see them again although now I can't keep cuc alive but my wrasse he's probably 5 inches or larger. I also went crazy using a toothbrush and powerhead to blow them off.

I've dipped Montis in Revive at 5-6 times the normal concentration for about 5 minutes. It took care of the adults and the eggs. I rinsed the Montis in tank water for several minutes until they didn't smell like Revive and put them back in the DT.

Had them in another tank. Only effective means I found was to remove the coral (hopefully it's on a plug or small rock) and FW dip it up to the base of the coral which is where the nudis make camp. Then use a pointy implement to scrape any eggs from in and around the base. May take a few tries at it over a week or so to rid them. The nudis fall off and die in the FW dip and the dip only has to last about a minute or two. A magnifying glass helps to seek and destroy the little bastards.

I hate those things, I've just now bought some new montis and although I've dipped them I've still got my fingers crossed.

Just an FYI I heard back from Kent Tech support. Poly Ox is 3832 PPM potassium permangante so to make a 50 ppm dip add 13 ml to 1000 ml of water.

I was unfortunate enough to encounter monti eating nudis once. I spent a number of weeks repeatedly dipping and scraping only to have them keep returning. Eventually I tossed the affected piece.
