Heniochus chrysostomus

I have 2 H. chrysostomus which completed tank transfer with formalin baths.

One is from BZA (Fiji), the other from liveaquaria (source unknown)
However, the BZA one is picky and the other won't eat.

I was able to get the BZA one onto pellets for 3 days by smudging mysis over the pellets. Then I fed pellets only for a day. Then it absolutely refuses it. The only thing it'll eat is mysis. It is now smart enough to know that I smudge mysis over pellets. crushing pellets into mysis doesn't work either. It will pick out the mysis pieces.

The one from liveaquaria ate a little mysis during ttm. now it swims aimlessly and seems listless. I suspect cyanide. It won't eat at all.

They won't eat mixed seafood. Seems like malnutrition is waiting to happen.
Any suggestions?

The one from LA is about dying. Its not swimming around but is sitting on the bottom.

I do not expect it to live more than a day or two.

Ok.

The remaining one is very picky. Only eats pieces of mysis.
I'm afraid it will slowly die from starvation.

Originally, I was planning to starve it, to force it to eat pellets. Hoever, it looked too skinny so I caved in.

I feel that I'm doing the fish a disfavor by telling it that its OK to keep being picky.
