I'm just shy from a month of starting the full ZEOvit. While my tank is still so young with the method, things are stabilizing and balancing out. Prior to this, I've had a coral in particular that turned green from blue, another with very faded purple tips and little to no polyp extension. Today, the acro that went green is a fairly bright and pastel Teal/Light Blue with some green in the middle and dark blue polyps. The Purple Tip Acro has very deep purple tips with crazy polyp extension throughout the day.
Zoanthids have usually melted in my tank. They would look amazing for 2 weeks then start to diminish by losing color and eventually melting. As of today, I'm having to break them away from my rock to stop from spreading to areas where I'd like to place future Acros.
Prior, my tank was used to sitting around 450-470 calcium. I had to reduce that very slowly but surely to 410-420 recommended by ZEOvit.
Dosing is very strict but extremely simple. I missed a day on accident and I could definitely see some corals not happy, which quickly made a come back. I'm only using the basic 4, as it is recommended I do so until the system is 100% ZEOvit.
Stirring the ZEOvit reactor is literally such minimal work. Just shaking twice, morning and night.
My thoughts so far, this is an amazing method and I'm so excited to see it progress with ZEOvit. As much as I've heard, "It is such a difficult method" "It's so time consuming" "It is so expensive." I completely have to disagree with each of those statements. While you already probable mess with your tank daily, lets be real, whats 2 drops of something and a quick shake of the handle on a reactor?
