Hentz's 75 SPS Dominated Reef

Haha lol, that certainly is an intense regime:p. More often than not, keeping things simple is the way to go. Thanks for sharing that:beer:

Here's a shot where the sun is "peaking"

Here is a shot right when I crawled into bed. Yes, this is amazing to look at before I fall asleep. VERY soothing!

Here's a shot of one of my favorite acros. Growing rapidly, though still coloring back up from the T5 -> LED transition.

Finally have a nice growth shot!
Here's an ORA Frag I purchased from an LFS. Unsure on the name. Though I broke the middle off so it was just a nub for a few months. But here it is, alive and happy! Growing quite quickly too!

When you first started the tank, was the water you used new or from your parents tank?

I've never used water from my parents tank.

This water started in my Nuvo 16 -> Solana 34 -> This Tank

Of course with water changes and new water added lol

So... I almost sold my tank.. Started posting corals in my local reef club's Facebook to start selling off, had people hitting me up and all within minutes..

Then my girlfriend talked me out of it.. Thats how you know she's a keeper!

Happy thanksgiving!
Here's a side shot of my tank. Sorry for the crappy quality.. I really need to get a camera!
I'm not too impressed with the iPhone 6+ Camera...

I sure do! Here is a little tank growth progress as well.

This picture was about 3 1/2 months ago!

Here it was 2 days ago! (I moved my green slimer. Knocked it off on accident while cleaning my tank lol)

Congratulations Hentz:dance:. So does she like tanks?

She does!
She's a Horse trainer, so I've refound my love for horses when we started dating.
Though has definitely mentioned she'll always want something in our future house, reef tank wise. You don't see this guy complaining! Just will have to hide the receipt prices :P

As much as I loved this tank, it's no longer in service! I downgraded to a 23 Shallow Reef. Something to easily move in a couple of months. Also my interest is falling low of the hobby. I couldn't get out of it, but with everything going on and changing in life, I felt I just need something small until I move into my place with my future wife!

Here is the build thread to the newest tank:

Great photo of you two!Best of wishes!

I'm sure your heat for the hobby will come again,as soon as you are in your new house .
Good call in setting up a smaller one!

Hey Hentz, that's a shame about the tank but life is more important so I completely understand the need to downgrade. I look forward to seeing what you can do with a little tank:)
