Here we go again... The "nth" tank build!!

Sump finally arrived:

I have to say Tyler from Elite Aquatics packed the sump well with thick sheets of styrofoam protecting the sump. I suppose I'll rinse it today and check for leaks but I'm sure it will be fine.

Here's a pic of the skimmer in the sump. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this or buy the Vertex 130. The Vertex looks so much prettier.:)

Sang,

Is that Chris' shop in San Jose?! If so, he does fantastic work. Everything is looking top notch bud!

When are you going to get it filled? Also, have you figured out what lighting set-up you are going to purchase? I have been seeing a lot of the ATI fixtures around, and I must say, I think that the Pac Sun may have it beat for aesthetics.

Hey Mark, the sump was built by Elite Aquatics in Utah. Chris made my stand and did a great job. I'm picking up the tank next week when I visit my parents up in El Dorado Hills. As far as the light, I am still undecided but have narrowed it down to the Kessil 360, AI Hydra 52 or the Pac Sun fixture. I still have another month to decide as my tank should be cycled by then.

Another update of sorts. I just ordered the Vertex Omega 150 at BRS due to their unbeatable price. I'll be honest and say the main reason why I ordered it is because it looks so damn good!! It will definitely blend in with my white sump. I'm not quite sure what I will be doing with two skimmers but I suppose it's a good problem to have!

It's gonna look sweet in your sump, I ordered one as well.

Thanks! I'll get some pics uploaded either tonight or tomorrow. It's all plumbed now and has freshwater in it.

I just wanted to thank Keith Grandt for his work of art. I am extremely happy with the silicone lines and overall appearance of this tank. It looks fabulous if I do say so myself! I absolutely went with the right person to build this tank. Let's just hope I can keep it going for more than 2 years!:)

Good stuff Sang. Looks like it was quite the day!
Thanks for stopping by on your way through town. The tank is sexy!
