The dictionary describes the "nth" as...
1. being the last in a series of infinitely decreasing or increasing values, amounts, etc.
2. utmost; extreme: to the nth degree.
3. used to refer to an unknown number in a series of numbers
This certainly describes my latest tank! I cannot count the number of times I have set up a tank, only to leave the hobby a couple years later. I really thought about why I keep torturing myself and taking down tanks when they are just starting to reach their prime. I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy "the thrill of the chase" (setting up a tank) more than the actual prize itself, a well balanced reef tank. I suppose I feel a rush when designing a new system that is unexplainable as it consumes all of my free time. With that said, I have no idea how long this tank will be up and running, although if I were a betting man (which I am), I would put a bet against me having the tank up for more than 3 years. In fact, I would set the over/under at 2.5 years! Well, enough rambling. Let's get this build started!!
