That stand look awsome,i love the opening on the side.since is only 16 inches tall.Kessel 360 should look nice over that tank.Are u going with a floating canopy?

Thanks Lap! I can't wait to pick it up on Sat and see it stained. I chose a dark walnut stain. I hope it looks good on maple wood. Yes, I do want a floating canopy similar to my last tank. A couple Kessil's would look great on it but I kinda want to run t-5's as well.

I would go with 2 mp10,mp60 will created a vortex with 16 inches tall tank.

That's a good point, Lap. I prefer two mp10's but I'm unsure how they will stick on 1/2" glass. Ecotech recommends up to 3/8" for the mp10's.

I use an mp10 on half inch glad with no issues whatsoever

I copied D2mini's stand. I remember seeing pics of his stand while I had my last tank and I wanted one just like it. Mine's a tad diferent because I used double doors and he used a single door on all three sides. With that said, I still want to give credit to Dennis as I used his plans for the stand.
