Below: VERY large polyp, Green,brown and some orange that you cant see in the picture, pupishblue

Below, No clue what this is but its redish brown. Bearly any polyps

below, purple/brown large white polyp

Below: purple, small green polyp, alot of blue, green

Below, Im fairly certain this is a deep water blue acro

Back ground, My tank went threw hell and back and finally starting to shed the brown.. It would be nice to know what these are called.

#5 looks like my ORA Marshall Island green polyp/ purple frag. I've never really ID'd it either. Was yours mounted on a white ORA plug?

Mines not mounted on anything. I just struck it threw a hole in the rack. lol:crazy1:


ANyone with an id for the first picture. Its gotta be my fav.

1 looks to be a. horrida
and that last one looks like it is either a. tenuis or a. tortuosa

#1 Karls Candle light.
#2 is an ORA peice.
#3 is a branching red atlantis-cyphastrea-decadia

The rest is your best guess.

#1 and #4: resemble A. horrida
#2: too blurry of an image to tell, but it shows similarities with A. plana
#3: Cyphastrea decadia (no doubt here- it's the only branching Cyphastrea)
#5: I agree with Jason, it resembles A. valida.
#6: Don't worry about "deepwater" labels. Most of the time they are misused in the hobby. It is a great looking piece- possibly A. tenius. Given some more time, making an ID may become easier.

Other than the Cyphastrea, I'm not positive on these. I'm suggesting them mostly as starting points.
