The sponges showed a lot of growth. I've had them for about 6 months when the pictures were taken. New branches were appearing monthly.

Unfortunately, the sponge show with the green carpet started to "erode". So I had to remove it from the tank.
I did not expect a long life span from the sponges anyway.
