As some may know, I had posted about my hippo tang having HLLE for quite a while (about 2 years). I couldn't find a definitive answer on curing however, once I was able to get my nitrates down to below 10ppm with sugar dosing the tang started healing immediately. Within the last 2 months, I'd say the HLLE has reversed about 70%. I'm not saying nitrates are solely the cause for HLLE but definitely one of the reasons.
