HLLE,>> Help me Cure Maybe

Any suggestions? This has been an ongoing problem maybe a year. Unless my voltage meter is messed up stray voltage is zero.

I'm no expert, but from what I understand, HLLE is caused by bad water quality or high nitrates. What are your nitrates at and if they are 20 or higher, try reading the vodka forum in reef discussion. That method should get them down which could solve HLLE.

either my macbook's screen is as bad as i think or that's not HLLE. i don't see pitting or erosion around the eyes naris or L.L. as they would be the first places to show the syndrome, in that order.
what i see looks like a dorsal fin which at some point was chewed up and hasn't regenerated 100%. soft dorsal spines grow back but the sharp hard posterior spines if bitten off (generally down to the base), don't.
