What do you do for work? If you don't mind me asking. Life started out as a Computer tech for a large PC company, later on in life I decided I hated that and went back to what I love doing, cooking. Went back to school to get a degree in hotel/restaurant management, trained under a michelin star chef for a few years, then went to run my own kitchen. Which is what I do now, manager/head chef of a local eatery.

I was a jack of all trades, I worked on the line, made the pasta and sauces, and help cook for the weddings we catered, work there for 2 years and hated so right now I'm just finishing school and I want to open up my own lfs cause that's my only interest right now

yeah its definitely a labor of love. Some people like it, but most hate working in the restaurant industry. Its hard, hot work with little to no appreciation. Unless of course your one of those celebrity chefs which IMO, most can't cook their way out of a wet paper bag.

Just noticed I have access to the buying/selling forum now. Didn't realize I've been on these boards for 90 days already.

Funny part is I was actually really good at it I just didn't like enough to stay, so I transferred and was a server for the next year, now I'm working as server at another place

make sure you really research LFS life. Talk about a labor of love and with the interwebs these days you will be priced out on most things. I know for my local guy that is why he is pretty much only coral since everything else would cost him more then he could sell it for.

So thought I would leave this here for you guys south of the border, funny part is it's true ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434560179.929284.jpg

So I got all my lights hooked up, and the apex hooked up. I'm so confused its not even funny. I turn outlets on, no response, I turn outlets off, lights blink. It seems as though I need 2 switchs on to turn the lights on?

I wired the apex controller backwards(was told by rapid to reverse the black and red on the controller to the driver?), I can get some of the 4 to turn on, but not all. They do all come on because I checked them before mounting the drivers, and if I unplug the apex, then plug it back in, they all come on.

Any and all help here would be greatly appreciated

You need to go into your fusion and ensure that the dimming schedule is not screwing you into thinking something is wrong. At the top of the fusion page turn the four IO ports to on and ensure all leds come on.

click on on all four of the ports. That overrides the dimmer and all should pop on. If not then you either have a fault in your wiring or the apex might be bad

Well I went with a 10% on at 8am ramp up to 50% by 10am, ramp down to 10% by 8PM to off. Did this with the white and colored. The blues and UV I did basically the same way with the exception of them being at 100% for 3 hours, then a gradual ramp down.
