Host Anemone

Hello.

I have a 20g nano set up, and i'm looking for a nice Host for my clown, in the past i had a pink tip... didn't think much of it, and with in a year it grew to the size of a basketball... not really what i want for my nano..

So i'm looking for something that will be bright, nice colour too it, and will do well in a smaller tank. Lighting is N.O at 60watts... so not too high. doing to be upgrading to LED's once I get the time and money. Let me me know some ideas. then the next fun thing will be trying to find one... My LFS only seems to ever have sickly looking pink tips....

thanks
T

Unfortunately, there aren't any anemones, with the exception possibly of mini-maxi carpets, that will not eventually outgrow your tank. A small bubble tip is about the best you can hope for, trade it or move it when it gets too big.

The smallest of the host species is H. malu; however, they are only natural hosts to one species of clownfish, clarkii, so they barely qualify.
