Hosting question

I have a pair of Percula's and a H. Crisp that I added about 2 weeks ago. The clowns have basically been ignoring the anemone until this morning. The female has been going to the anemone and not really biting the tips of the anemone, but almost as if she's tasting it. Is this a possible precursor to hosting?

Thanks

Brian

Yes they will slowly have to build up a tolerance to the sting, it can take a few minutes or a few days IME. also some fish are more interested in Nems then others. My female loves to roll in her rbta, but hyer mate has never touched the nem.

Great. Thanks for the response. These are captive bred pair so this may be their first ever exposure to an Anemone. Hoping they like it. ;)

It's a good sign, many people see this when their clowns start acclimating themselves to an anemone.

Hopefully your Crispa will be hosting them very soon! :D
