I guess this is sort of a n00b question.....

But when clowns host an anemone....does this mean they do not move from that area at all during the daytime? My clowns don't venture too near the anemone until the lights are turned out.

I got my two clowns and anemone on Saturday. Sunday morning I awoke to find both clowns using the anemone as a "pillow". They were laying on their sides.

Soon as the lights turned on, they got up, and started swimming around the entire 24ga nano tank. They did this for the entire day.....not venturing very near the anemone, until after lights out and then they went to be.

So does this mean they have hosted the anemone?

Actually it means the anemone is hosting the clowns. There are no hard and fast rules regarding when the clowns will decide to spend more time in the anemone than out of the anemone.
