I don't use biopallets anymore. I use Aquaforest probiotic bacteries (ProBioS) with medium for them (ProS ) for more than two years. .
Sever you mean to use : ProBioS bacteries with medium ProF i think..
Where to begin ...
I use everthing from Aquaforest
Probiotic Reef Salt 10% of water change every week.
ProbioS and ProF 1 drop for 100l.
I use Aquaforest Component1,2,3 +. It's like Balling system but with all micro and macroelements. Thanks to that I don't think about microelements Ca, Mg and Kh. Etc... I use dosing pomps and my system need 500ml by day of every component. I divide that for 12 doses by day.
I use aminoacids CoralA , Vitamins CoralV, Coral E excellent food for corals and CoralB (for growing ) after the lights are off. 1 drop by night for 100l. I use Carbon and PhosphateMinus also from Aquaforest. I use all that almost for 3 years and I'm very pleased with the results. Corals are in perfect conditions, very healthy looking, amazing colors and growing very fast

The Aquaforest stuff in the UK has good prices compared to Fauna Marin. I might try some of their stuff in the next few months.
I've noticed quie a few nice SPS tanks lately that are running exclusively on the Aquaforest system.

I don't use biopallets anymore. I use Aquaforest probiotic bacteries (ProBioS) with medium for them (ProF ) for more than two years. That keep nutrients at the level that I want. I use Probiotic Sea Salt of Aquaforest. In my tank it works better that BP. I can control level of nutrients by dosing more or less of bacteria and medium. I have also lps corals so it's important to have NO3 around 1. PO4 I have 0,02-3.
