How big do BTA get?

Got a little bleached BTA free from LFS. It was about 2". That was a couple months ago. Now it's 8-9". Boyfriend says its so big it's ugly. How big do these guys get?!

I've brought anemones home that I thought were quite small, only to have them expand three fold; so may partially be that and partially real growth. Agree that a foot across is not unusual.

The biggest I've seen was an orange BTA that was easily 16-18 inches across.

Fully open it was 2" when we brought it home. That was between 2-3 months ago. You guys are telling us a foot across?! :eek1: 18" even?!! A foot and a half nem in a 65 gallon?!

I've had RBTA that were 18"24" in diameter...well fed and happy.

They can get big, most will split before they too big though.
