Best stand on RC. No offense to the guys that have stands like it but i just cant stand the panneled/old furniture look, clean lines is what does it for me.

I guess you want to see more than just the stands right? Tank dimensions are 120"x48"x30" in glass.

Here it is all covered. Tank can be seen from the 2 long sides (foyer and dinning room). Sorry these are old pictures.

Yeah, here are a few from all of the seasons we experience up here, including how I spend my summers these days...

Thanks, but let's not hijack this thread. My interior designer is my wife. She drew the plans for the house & all the other goodies. I just had to pay for it all.

WOW. this thread is coming along very nice. I am getting some good ideas for my stand, which I will probably start on and hopefully finish by the weekend. Keep the killer posts going guys. I don't mind the minor sidetracks.

My old 75 with it's cypress stand and canopy. The front 1/4 of the canopy would flip open for tremendous access. Don't know if you can see the joint. Easy access to work on the tank is really nice to have. Cypress is also a good choice of wood (although more costly than other choices), as it is rot resistant.

Notice I said "my old 75?" That tank is now dead as a result of the after effects of Hurricane Rita. Mandatory evacuation; no power for two weeks; couldn't get back into town for 10 days = a very dead reef tank. I am upgrading now, but not the way I wanted to do it. :(
