how do you get your purple tang to eat from a clip?

i have a purple tang and he eats everything i shove in the tank. i normally feed formula 2 from ocean nutrition and frozen mysis soaked in vitamins. he especially loves the mysis. i have tried on various occasions to try to feed it nori on a clip but he never touches it even after leaving it there the whole day. i have tried putting green algae and then brown algae sheets but he seems to just ignore it all.

how do you get your tang to feed on their clips?

Put some drops of garlic in a tupperware dish full of tank water. Dunk the nori in it then move it to the tank. Hopefully it will help. If not rubber band the nori to some live rock and drop it in the tank. Once it starts eating it from the rock it will know that the clip is safe to eat from.
