i'm wondering how does my BTA eats, it doesn't grab the mysis shrimp i give him.. so i just drop it on him and wait for him to eat it..

how do they eat?? anyone has pics or videos?

from what i observed after it has food, it deflates back all its tentacles, den puffs up its body.. almost thought it was going to die, with the deflated tentacles..

one more thing, i noticed my skunk cleaner shrimp likes to climb up onto the BTA to pick off food i gave it..

If you feed them larger pieces of food (I use prime reef) they will grab and move it to their mouths.

Sometimes you come home for lunch and find your Thompson's Tang was served for their lunch!

That being said, usually I clip off a piece of seafood, like I've been eating a lot of salmon lately, and i put a little raw piece down by it's tentacles and it grabs it and eats it.

at least your trying to figure out how he eats, does he look better than he did the other day? I still say you having an anemone in a 2 week old (now?) tank is not a good idea

oh ya, a quick update on my wrinkling anemone, it's okay now.. full bloom like a flower, pretty.. think i'm really lucky already..

only problem is with the skunk shrimp picking off food from it..
