I added a Fathead Sunburst to my system a couple of days ago and my 4-line wrasse immediately went after the fish. The anthias just perches on the sandbed lifeless and the wrasse won't bother him. When he moves... The 4-line will chase him around relentlessly.
I have the 4-line only for pest control and have little attachment to the fish beyond that.
I put a water bottle w/ food in the tank today and within 2 hours caught the 4-line.... ^ ^
Anyone with experience have a general idea of how long the 4-line needs to be out of the population before he can be re-added and feel as if he is in a new place?
I had some clowns that were out of my tank while it sat fallow for 90 days and the anemone they hosted for a couple of years... Well now they host a monti cap instead.
How long does it take a fish to forget?
