How high are your MH OR LEDS over your SPS tank?

I feel like a am burning my sps due to tissue lose and thinking maybe they are to close to water...
they are 8" over water but maybe I should raise them??

I have a 300gal(72"L x 27"H x 36"W)with 2-400w MH on the ends and 2-AI LEDS in the middle

I was getting par readings from 350-400 at 6" down from water line
250 in the middle
150 readings at the sand bed

Let me know what you think

My 250w Halides are around 20" above the surface of my 25" deep tank.Probably 15" or so above my Highest SPS Colony...

My Radion is 9" over my 28g cube. Bleached the crap outta all my SPS when I first added it, but everything looks great now, have you made any changes lately?

mine are like 8 or 10 to the water surface from the bottom of the pendant. The bulbs sit pretty high in the luminarc pendants to.

I have 6 AI Sol Blues over my 180 at about 12" above the waterline.

My MH's were only 8" above the water. Now my Sol's are a little closer than 8" above the water. I have an old canopy that is just not tall enough. It seems to work fine even though I would have liked them 10-12" above the water.
