how long before i give up?

when i got home from work today, i noticed a pretty good indentation in the sand near where my clam lives. i don't know if that means anything but it sure looks like something buried itself there. all other fish are present and accounted for.

if i have time this weekend, i'll remove all of the live rock from my sump to check and see if he somehow ended up down there. i've looked everywhere else. ten times! lol

i may do a test for ammonia, too, although i'm pretty sure that isn't a problem since my clam is fully open and looking great.

bummer, ken. i'm 100% sure he didn't land on the carpet. i have been nose-to-carpet over the entire room at least 3 times.
