not sure what the lighting was before, they are sitting at the bottom of the tank right now, led lighting at less than half power. about 20 or so inches from the top of the tank and the lights are 12 inches above that, i have another chalice in the tank doing just fine and had no problems introducing him, his feeders were out the same night. This one has his eye or mouth open, whatever you want to call it, no feeders out, did not accept food when placed on him yet. for acclimation, i was usually with all my coral temp acclimating and then dripping, doing another temp acclimation, dip, then rinse and in the tank, i've heard and read many times on here though that after a coral is shipped, it's worse to leave the coral in that water for a drip since it has already sat so long in the bag. i temp acclimated, tested for salinity, was within .001, dipped, rinsed, put in the tank. The other one is doing just fine, mouth is closed, accepted food.
