How long could a squamosa last?

How long could I keep 1 or 2 squamosa clams in a 29g tank with only 2 55w pcs with feeding?

I'm getting a job pretty soon(like 1 month or less) and I'd guess that I'd have the money to set up a bigger tank with better lighting in a year.

So is there anyway I could do it?

I read in a thread that someone was placing a clam in a bowl and feeding it phytoplankton, what about if i did that?

I really like my clams and don't want to wait a year, but I'm afraid that's what I'm going to have to do.

any advice, i don't want to hurt these animals

Don't do it. 2 x 55 is pretty weak. Wait a year, save your money, and upgrade your lighting and tank. Then add all the clams you want. You don't HAVE to feed clams if they are of decent size.
