How long do t5 bulbs last

Well I know with metal halide bulbs people say one year and replace them but how about t5's when should they be changed ? Mine are going on a year and wonder if they should be changed along side the metals? Any intel is appreciated.

Everywhere I have read claims 6-12 months. So yes, if they are a year old it would be time to replace them.

10-12 months...I would say be careful changing all the bulbs at the same time. All you bulbs have lost intensity over the last year, if you change all together you might fry some coral..

thanks thought they were good for a year and half for some reason will change half and the other half next month..thanks

Yeah when T5s were THE best thing ever 3-4 years ago and gaining popularity, it was claimed up to 2 years with cooling. But that has come down to 10-12 months by what I have read from knowledgeable T5 people....aka GrimReefer

supplemental lighting? they still fire and look good with no ill effects..
