How long does it take for a BTA to swallow a fish?

Hey guys.

I googled the question but I did not find anything.

How long does it take for a BTA to eat a 1/4 of a silver side. I fed them 15 min ago and its slowly making its way down the mouths of the BTA. Never had an anemone before. This is my first time feeding them.

The bigger the food the longer it takes, the smaller the food the less time it takes. Also depends on if it's in the mood to feed or not. There is no true answer for your question.

Btw silversides have been known to kill anemones, i would suggest switcheing to shrimp, or krill

Ditto, or scallops as well

when I give big pieces of shrimp to my BTAs its like an instant vacuum. Soon as it drops into them them close up around it and within a few minutes it opens back up and the piece is gone. Stopped doing silversides from the advice of everyone here.
