How long for individual polyps to attach to rockwork?

Our Tuxedo Urchin decided he was going to help propagate our Brown Skirts and plucked two poor polyps from the colony to use as 'cover' I rescued them and set them aside on a piece of liverock, they're connected at the base and are healthy enough to open up on their own. How long 'til they grab hold of the rock?

hi there!

it varies from zoa to zoa. some of mine attach in as little as 3 days, others take about 3 weeks. the average is right in between that though w/ my experiences.

Not anymore, they're pinned down with a small rock.
