3 years last month. started with a 29G Biocube, now I have that, a 10G with a pair of snowflake clowns, a 33G frag tank, and a 150G display tank. The 10, 33, & 150 are all plumbed into a 75G sump/fuge.

I voted 1-5 years. I had 3 tanks for 4 years, then took a 6 1/2 year break after moving before getting back in last October.

Well "reef" is a difficult thing to figure. There were really no reef animals for sale in the US before about 1975 or so and that was only arrow crabs, anemones and coral banded shrimp.
As soon as they were available, thats when I got them so that would be about 36 years. But that could not really be called a reef. I don't remember when we started adding corals.

Started getting more serious in 1974, have been on and off with it since late 70s, sold fragged starts in San Diego area through the 80s.
