How long till my zoo's re-open?

I was very nervous following the instructions at http://reefcentral.com/forums/showt...&perpage=25&highlight=iodine dip&pagenumber=1

but none the less my zoo's looked worse for wear today and I decided to give it a try, how long till they re-open?

depending on the zoo. some are more tougher than others. Some open with in minutes of getting into the tank, while some dont' for weeks. you can either leave it there or place it to another slightly less lit area.

I put em back where I got them origionally, guess I'll have to wait and see :-\

On the bright side I did get 3 nudi's off my rock, so hopefully all will be really well.

I got some Tubbs Blues 2 weeks ago,they showed no signs of opening till last night,one opened about 1/2 way for an hour then closed.

Well, I left em overnight. They look like even more crap thismorning -.- I guess they're giving me a half-assed expantion. I tilted a powerhead their direction, hopefully that'll help a bit. Have to see what they look like tonight

Not to much direct flow but moderate dispursed flow. Please post pics of the polyps

I wish I could post a picture, but I don't have a digital camera The majority of my polyps were half open when I got home from work, so maybe they'll be ok

Thaught I'd give you an update, almost all my polyps are open and look happy. I think they're a bit crowded however.

Not sure if it's related but a set of pallys I had affectionatly deemed "Toxic Wastelands" because they were brown stalked and fingered with a deep glowing green interrior have now shifted all brown

Anyway, my colony looks way way better, color change is the lesser of 2 evils.

I had some very drab, almost see-thru palys turn a nice bright purple/blue, after adding vitamin C.

Drix HIGHlight seems to always ( most of the time ) color up zoa's with in a couple of months.

Good lighting and moving them up the tank mixed, good to very good flow and very stable water parameters.

That's what "Drix HIGHlight" means?

NAH, " HIGHLIGHT " means highlight. put the zoa higher in the aquarium to recieve as much light as possible. but gradually increase the high of placement as time goes on. High light can also mean better lighting of your using PCs I'd go with T5s or Mh with T5 combos.
