Just to answer your question i have 10 shrimp in my 50 gallon and they get along

Dude, I dont know if anyone noticed, but that 55 gallon is to too small for your purple tang.



Seriously, I have several cleaner shrimp in my 45 gallon and they all get along. Fun to watch them play patty-cake in the middle of the water column every once in a while.
